Yahoo’s Style Guide for Web Content

Very few organisations use a style guide. From what I have noticed in most clients who do follow some kind of style, is that they have a visual identity manual to lay down to the rules for visually-depicting the brand, but still no norms of how it should be represented in words. My latest assignment entails developing the positioning, visual identity, messaging, and writing style guide for a prominent financial firm that offers online solutions. It’s no wonder then, that I am thrilled to hear of Yahoo’s Style Guide for Web Content. It’s about time!

(Those of you who lay your hands on it, please post a comment on what you think of it! Cheers!)
